Dolomiti Air Line is a regional area company bought by Lufthansa that has grown to become a European company with high travel standards. It has recently embarked on a new communication strategy relying on a young and promising agency, The Trip Agency that has led the company to develop, among other things, even a corporate blog. To realize the WordPress theme of the Dolomiti Air Line corporate blog, the guys from The Trip Agency immediately proposed to me a well-structured prototype of the theme they wanted to create.
A front-end job
Looking at the realized in detail mock-ups, I was able to immediately evaluate the necessary commitment and, since this first part of the work had already been done in the correct way – something not so common -, I started immediately from the development of the front end.
The prototypes presented interesting aspects, including the possibility to change the layout of individual articles according to specific needs, as well as the possibility to choose which sidebar to use in the same place. I also devoted particular attention to the most invisible part of a front end, the metadata part, choosing to implement an exhaustive microdata set in line with the html.
